Well i was bored and set up some streaming web cams nothing weird or Jenny Camish or anything have one that it aimed at the puppies and another one that is aimed from the tv in the living room and since none uses the well that computer naked or the tv naked well again that tv i think it is pretty safe =) if you are bored give it a try and see how it works over dial up again the link is over there on the side.

Well it has been awhile since I posted. We have gotten the room ready so far for the baby it is painted and stuff just have to get the furniture ready for it. Not a whole lot new on the baby front just that he is getting bigger. Thought i would have a post in here for November.

Well I guess I can start getting a normal night's sleep now. Abbie's mom is on cloud 9. Well I guess enough about baseball. Tomorrow is attempt # 4 and finding out if we do not have a Shy baby any more. So hopefully we will have some clue or the baby will have to really like yellow and green.

Well it has been a while since I have posted in here but a lot of things have been going on. Well first off there was the whole hurricane thing. Everything here came out pretty good just the fence got the short end of it again. We still have a shy baby still have no ideal what it is so i hope the baby likes yellow and green. Also went up the New York and Connecticut a few weeks ago for a wedding. Seems like that is a almost yearly event now. Abbie had a good birth day up there she got to see 2 shows on her birthday. I can recommend Avenue Q if you are up there and want something fun to see. I can sum it up into 3 words, "The internet is for porn". Also thing Sesame Street for adults. If i get the motivation i think i am going to have some follow up ports to the trip and stuff. On a side note for dinner Thursday I had Elk and it does not taste like chicken. More like steak. Well this is it for now just woke up and trying to get the motivation to make something to eat and stuff. That have to the dogs in so they can fight inside now.

Lost power again

well i still have a phone line but no power looks like we are getting the eye wall now. the house is not making scary noises like it was before but looks like the worse it yet to come they put the 2 county area under a tornado warming because of the wind speed not because of an actual spotted tornado. but so far we are safe i will try and post later if i can.

Making it the 2nd storm in a month to take aim at us. I am thankful i have not taken out shutters down yet. Looks like we get to go through this again maybe this one will miss us but for now it looks to be at my drive way in 72 hours. At least we are used to this but it is still annoying.

Well i have one phone line now the internet line so i van get on-line now and also get E-Mail. it has been almost a week on that line the other like might take some more time i guess to get that up but we are making progress.

Well things are getting back to normal at work. Surprisingly a lot of people showed up for work today most of the Help desk did not making our jobs harder having to do their work and ours. We got power back home but no phones yet. We chopped the tree that fell into our yard and working on putting up a makeshift fence in the yard to contains the puppies. Over all things are pretty good seeing how bad things could of gotten. The new buildings here at work looks like they faired well the old buildings that were refurbished Wal-Marts have some leaking but are up and running. Life is slowly getting back to normal here but still a lot of clean up

Well i do not have any phone lines at home and no power still i am at work right now getting servers up here and we have power and everything here. do not know how long i will be with out phone or power. we have a giant 75 foot tree in out back yard and quite a bit of damage to the fence the house and everyone is ok. i will try and post again tomorrow.

The eye is over the house right now i would say we are getting gusts of over 100 MPH right now the eye should be here soon and will give us an hour or so of peace. The house is shaking right now but it is holding up well. the local TV station lost part of their roof and they were rated fro a cat 5 storm. I hope to post more later i have about 90 min of battery left of the laptop and then a few UPSes charged up.

Well the only thing that has went out here is the 2nd phone line for the internet. so i have shut down the network now and just have the lap top on UPS power and it's own battery but it is blowing pretty bad here about 40 os so steady and gusts to about 60 or so no real damage yet well i will try and update latter power permitting.

Well looks like it is slowing down a bit for now but still heading here. we still have power and everything so we are ok It has weekend and I am hoping it will not re-strengthen. There is a little bit left to do here and but all and all we are as ready as we are going to be. i will try and post later weather permitting.

Looks like FPL is going to turn the power off at 2 PM so i don't know how long it will be till it is turned on again.

Looks like my Dad was on crack this isn't going to happen also the storm slowed down.

well i got thew shutter up as best as we could the f---ing shutter company screwed up the shutters but 3 drops to the home labyrinth later it is mostly fixed just a little peeved well so far just Abbie my self and Gemma are here and the dogs my parents will be here tomorrow. If anyone is interested we will be renting wave runners from here if it floods. well maybe not but but we have 6 here. Looks like about 8 or so tomorrow is when it starts to get really bad here and it still is looking like an almost direct hit here. still hoping it goes elsewhere.

Well this night was a busy night was putting up shutters. Looks like this think is heading for us just a matter of how close it comes and how bad it will get. we have 2 windows and the back sliding glass door left to do but they shutters are going ot pretty easily just a lot of work i doubt i will be able to do much updating till after the storm. provided there is power here. THey were putting up shutters at work. looks like they needed more people to put then up they were bribing people with $100.00 to put more up. well one can hoe this thing will turn but it is not looking like it it has been 25 years since one has hit here other then Erin in 1995 but that was not that big well i have rambled enough.

Well looks like we had a pretty bad thunderstorm yesterday and it tried to blow the screen door off the porch. This storm was not even really realated to the tropical storms that were around just a after noon thunderstorm there were reports of a tornado. Will have to look up storm reports and see how close to my area it was but looks like we had a serious little wind gust.

Well the puppy population has doubled at the house. So far things are going good other then Ginger trying to eat the puppy and pounce on him. I guess she better act while she can because she will only be the biggest dog for a month or so. The new puppy is well how can i put this. He is plump well i have so pics posted if you wish to look here. yes it is real it was in a baby name book i was reading it is Korean for unmovable or something close to that. I guess if you have that name you really wound need to be wouldn't you. To top it off if you just had a really warmed parent you could have Richard for a first name .

Well Thursday Ginger got sniped. They tell you not to have to dog exercise for 10 days, The nurse said she won't do anything she is not ready for till she is ok. I hope she is right because you try and tell that to a whippet. You see the blurry whippet picture up there that is her at rest pretty much. Well she was sleepy for the day after and now she seems ok now. Well we puppy proofed the under of the bed we re did the bed liner that she tore down and put more boxes under the bed so there is no room for her under there any more. SO she now has decided that sleeping under then bed is imposable she now wedges her self between us and sleeps there. So far no one has really rolled over on her too much. Well Saturday we picked out the new puppy. The criteria for picking him was he was the one that seemed to be a love and also was the one that managed to find the puppy treat under stuff but we are looking forward to next monday when we get him. At first i don't think ginger will mind him because she will be the bigger one but that won't be long then it will be interesting how things go.

Why is it when ever you are a a get together or party someone always decides to dash boldly across that like and decide to talk about Religion and/or politics. In this case both. Some people just don't get the ideal that people have different thoughts and are appalled by that. Maybe that is why i always get turned off by people that are openly religious and feel they need to show it somehow. I just think it is something that it one chose and go and do your own thing and be done with it. Well enough about the rant just had to get that out. It just seems like people are oblivious to this there needs to be PSA about this (well maybe not but i t would be better then some of the other ones) Maybe i could divert funds from PETA to it or something.

well looks like thanks to my dad and the power of ITEX someone is selling Lab puppies via ITEX (it is a bartering thing) so it looks like after this weekend will will be a 1 puppy house and in 5 or 6 weeks we will be 2 puppies. Also find out a house down the street has a Whippet so it looks like we will be having Whippet play dates where they can run and be free but no whippet puppies her dog is fixed also is 9 years old but we are leaning toward getting a male Lab but we are not going to have labppets or whipadors. if we did i am going to train then for big air dog events but that would require a lake. We have a name already Guinness. Well that is it from puppy central.
